Borrowing from the timeless story of the temptation in the desert, “The Wilderness” accompanies the prophet as he seeks God in the desert. There, the enemy appears to challenge his faith and offer earthly pleasure.
The artistic style is simple and raw, and it is, as a reviewer commented, “pure to the point that it does not use belief as some springboard for an antihero, but rather as an iron will we have been too wont to discard.”
